Without mathematics, nothing works! Mathematics is the basis for all technical applications. Without mathematics, there would be no computers, no phones, no entertainment and no modern machinery, no digital photography, no Internet and no modern medicine at all. Large bridges, tunnels and skyscrapers would be unthinkable. Maps and building plans could be made impossible accurately. Space would be both from geometrical / geographical reasons and for physical / mechanical reasons, impossible!
